Skin tan is due to over exposure of your skin in sun. There is an increase in skin pigmentation which is called melanin and this causes skin color change. Your skin becomes tanned due to over exposed in sun (UV radiation). You don’t have to spend on expensive salon to get rid of skin tan. now you can use any of these home remedies to reduce skin tan.

Best vacation one can think of during summer time is hitting the beaches wearing hot pants. That’s where you are more prone to get your skin tan. Now enjoy your hard earned vacation time.

Many of them use chemical to get rid of tanned skin, however chemical may or may not suit everyone and it may have its ill effects.

Don’t be so hard on your pocket, indulge in some homemade masks to beat the skin tan immediately, at the same time these are easily available resources. Let’s take a moment and have a look at the vital role mother earth plays in providing us with enriched resources for betterment of our lives.

Lemon juice: Take a slice of lemon, rub it on your face or tanned area. Leave it for few minutes before hitting the shower. Repeat this for couple of weeks. It will show the effect gradually.

Gram flour and turmeric powder to remove skin tan:

Take one tbsp of gram flour and a pinch of turmeric powder. Add cold milk to make a paste. Apply this pack on the affected areas and keep it for 20 minutes. Once the pack is dried up you can remove it by gently rubbing it and wash it with Luke warm water.

Tomato and Aloe vera:

To rejuvenate your skin and remove the skin tan, tomato and aloevera is the best combination. Take one tbsp tomato paste mix it with one tsp of aloevera. Now mix that mixture and apply it on your tanned skin area and keep it for 20 minutes. Wash it with Luke warm water. repeat this alternate days for couple of weeks.

Papaya and honey:

This pack will never upset anyone and will refresh your skin. Papaya will make your skin bright and honey will soften your skin. Take a pulp of papaya add 1 tbsp honey, blend well the mixture. Apply it on the affected areas.  Leave it for 20 minutes. Wash it off with cold or Luke warm water.

Cucumber and lemon juice:

extract cucumber water add few drops of lemon. Apply it on the tanned skin. Leave it for 20 minutes and wash it with Luke warm water. Lemon juice will help to remove the tan and cucumber will soothe your burnt skin.

Now you can easily prepare your skin for next vacation and don’t worry about skin tan.
